My account was hacked and someone purchased an Amazon gift card. I contacted their support and their response was: we’re sorry your account got hacked but since the code was viewed please contact the seller or your bank.
This is absolutely unacceptable from G2A as they even acknowledged my account was hacked yet did not even want to provide a resolution.
What a shady fraudulent company, stay away!
Their adverts say they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. THAT IS A TOTAL LIE.
When I asked for my money back their customer replied... HAVE A NICE DAY ****.
They are a foul mouthed disgrace and will NEVER REFUND YOU FOR ANYTHING SELL. Despite it never being as advertised.
Do not buy from G2a... EVER.

The site G2A takes no responsibility until 7 days after a ticket is submitted.
Sellers advertise invalid or pre-used keys freely on this website. G2A advise that you contact sellers directly. They are given a full 7 days within which to reply. You could be out of pocket for a long time.
I highly recommend not using G2A.com and instead look for alternatives, which often cost less and offer better guarantees and customer services.
Currently have a ticket with them open about a Microsoft Office Key. But have had issues with them in the past, I thought they'd have improved by now and gave them another shot, apparently not.
"I'm really sorry for the trouble, but please keep in mind that we simply do not interfere between buyers and sellers, as sellers are obligated to take responsibility for the products they offer.
However, we think 7 days are enough for the seller to solve the issue. If he doesn't help you after the said time, please use our Money Back Guarantee program."
Perhaps in future, to improve their service, G2A.com could verify their sellers more carefully by testing their products prior to advertisement. They could also guarantee products sold for a replacement key or refund within 24 (or fewer) hours. They could also empower their customer service staff with the ability to refund their "Buyers" directly and then deal with the seller directly.
Just to clarify, photographic evidence in the form of 4 screenshots of 4 different methods of key activation was supplied. Along with all the associated error codes. As far as evidence is concerned, the seller wouldn't "have a leg to stand on". So G2A would have no legal issue at all if they chose to be helpful and escalate the issue directly with the seller.
[An Update After Mat's Response]
Yes, fortunately for G2A, the seller responded and was able to assist with the tutorial. He was indeed thanked and the ticket was closed.
A note after your passive aggressive response, which you wrote over an existing apologetic and professional response from another agent. This does not resolve the other issues listed above. Your response times are sadly, still worse than your competitors. You do not empower your customer service agents with the ability to refund directly prior to 7 days after purchase. Your initial maximum response time to G2A direct tickets is 72 hours. This isn't good practice and will cause trust issues between your brand and your customers.
It is however still G2A's policy to not enforce seller responses under 7 days, this is what I take issue with. I'm well aware of what was in your terms & conditions. It is not against the law to find your terms and conditions and SLA's to be sub-par and question them when a poor service is delivered.
You may also notice, that (at the time of posting) there is no mention of the extremely specific, an unusual method of activating this key on the advert for the product. Unfortunately links can't be added to reviews yet, but a full page pdf has been taken of the advert at the date of posting. With any luck, an advert you're currently reading directs you to the tutorial you need for your purchases.
You could resolve issues like this before they even emerge by referencing specific tutorials for products, within the advert, prior to monetary exchange.
[Especially if those products only function using that specific tutorial, given the many different ways of activating Microsoft products]
This has all been a very poor show in terms of G2A's customer service. Made far worse by the most recent response made by Mat.
I wish you every success with your betterment of customer service policy, and Mat's future training.
I ordered a steam gift card worth of $100 I make payment with bitcoin the payment is completed and confirmed it been hours now I haven’t received my gift card I hope this is not a scam
Bought a windows 10 key from here and would not activate, called Microsoft to confirm, they confirmed it as an invalid key already in use. Company has been rude and is fighting to not refund my money! Stay away from these scam artists!
Purchased a key from a seller (Order *******0487464) which turned out to be unusable, so I contacted the seller asking for a refund. When I didn't get a reply from the seller, I contacted G2A who replied that I could claim on their 'Money Back Guatantee' after seven days.
So, today (six days after initial key purchase, and two days after first G2A contact), I went to check if there are any messages from the key seller only to find my G2A account HAS been blocked. And, after contacting G2A to deal with the login issues presented by their G2A.com system, I am told to contact *******@g2a.com
Thr reply is entirely dodgy in itself, asking for photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc), handwriting, account user login, and bank with PayPal account details, along with any other accounts used in alias. Exactly everything fraudsters will ask for.
One, or two finalities can be taken from this,; that G2A are utter sh*te and will do their best to dissuade buyers from complaining - and claiming against their seller members upon the G2A 'Money Back Guarantee', going as far (if not further) than blocking buyers access to their accounts. Or (and) really are requesting extremely sensitive data protection information from the buyer member base, of which needn't be requested, as proof of account ID can be given through the two step verification instead.
Very dodgy activity at G2A.com
I firmly believe G2A to be entirely seller based, and highly biased in that favour, complicit in the prevention of refunding money from their seller members knowingly flogging unusable/fake product keys.
I also believe G2A.com to be non-compliant with GDPR.
The game marketplace is fine but the most important advice I would give you is never to gamble on this website , that is to say never to buy loot cases/boxes or loot points.
Initially , their offerings look quite attractive , and it seems you have a good chance to win good games for a low price. But trust me on this , it will never work for you and you will always end up getting a game that is either cheaper (on g2a or other sites) or you may also end up with nothing (by selling your rewards for more loot points and eventually loosing them too as you get games that can be re-sold for less loot points).
They have nailed the algorithm for loot cases , that is to say , you will never be able to profit from it. It is virtually a casino , but of games , in which you are bound to lose most of the times. I myself have lost above 10 USD in loot cases.
So folks , be aware don't let them loot you and always prefer waiting for good deals , rather than gambling for games.
Thank You.
The G2A website promises full customer satisfaction and full refunds. However, after selling me a bad windows 10 activation key, the seller refused to refund, and G2A refused to help or refund. G2A and their sellers cannot be trusted.
User's recommendation: Stay away as they cannot be trusted to refund on a bad purchase.
Thank you for applying to the Money Back Guarantee program!
Last time I shop with G2A beware bought a Steam key for a few pound it's already been used waitied over 7 days and now G2A expect me to do all the case work to get my money back as part of their 'guarantee'
The purpose of the program is for G2A.COM users get their money back if a product they bought isn’t as described, doesn’t work or stops working and a compromise with the seller could not be reached. You can learn more at
Before the application will be processed, two steps are necessary:
1. First, you need to report the fraud committed by the seller to the local police or other appropriate authority in your area.
2. Next, please send a scan of the official document confirming a report was filed. The document should include:
• Your first and last name
• The price of the product
• The name of the product
• The seller's data (user ID, transaction ID, nickname etc., anything that helps the police identify the seller). All this data can be found in the receipt for the order:
• Official stamps confirming the authenticity of the report
Without such a document, your application will have to be declined.
Same thing different company. Well, I had purchased a game on the 10th of november. 2 weeks go by and then today i received a message from steam saying that my game has been removed from my library and been revoked. Granted this has happened before, but with another online gaming site. So i think from now on i'm going with more reputable game sites. I'm tired of renting a high priced game only to have it taken away and have to go through these long waiting processes just to get your money back. I sent a message to the seller and they are yet to respond, and i have 6 more days to wait. If you are using this site, BE CAREFUL AND BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
G2A itself cannot be recommended at all due to the acceptance of fraud. I bought a gift card from a seller, who then provided me with a wrong code.
The contacted seller did not react at all and also the G2A support was not trying to help (only sending standard messages).
What make it clear that the marketplace is clearly not to recommend at all is when I posted a negative rating. Then magically the seller answered but demanded that I change my rating and not willing to do anything before.
And also that was completely ignored by the G2A support. They now send you to the police, in the hope that you give up then or after that give you more excuses.
Stay away from this market place
